4I purchased this beautiful backgammon set for my boyfriend's 50th birthday. He was very pleased! The package came across seas without damage but as I took the set out of the gift cardboard box for a first inspection, the end of the game popped off. Luckily I was able to reattach and secure it with a glue stick. I hope it holds! The resin chips are silky smooth and overall I am very happy with the purchase.Georgia Hofmann

Beautifully handcrafted from inlaid walnut burl wood, this classic backgammon set has been produced by Manopoulos in Greece. Handmade with a solid wood frame, the simple design has been perfectly executed to display the swirling natural wood grain of the burl wood.
Upon opening the lid, the smooth playing surface becomes the centre of attention. With wooden shakers, a full set of dice and mother of pearl effect checkers this is an elegant tournament size set which will be enjoyed for years.
An engraved message can be added on a brass plate on the front or to the lid to make a treasured gift.
