Aged in oak barrels, this award-winning Saint-Emilion Grand Cru is a fine accompaniment to beef and venison.
Rich, fruity aromas are paired with juicy and sweet tannins with a backing of toasted vanilla for an enjoyable bottle of sophisticated red. The primary Merlot grape is blended with Cabernet Sauvignon for a well balanced wine.
Presented in a premium wood presentation box which can be engraved with your personal message for a special occasion.
The tranquil winery Château des Bardes is located in the east of Saint-Emilion, one of the best known and most famous wine-growing regions in the southwest of France, in the Bordelais. It is this soil for which the area is internationally known and in 1999, the wine-growing region was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Winemaking at Château des Bardes is done gently and close to nature. Natural weed deterrents are used and the estate buildings are run sustainably, with solar panels, rainwater filters and a wind turbine.
A story in which setting of the Château des Bardes and the owners oenological passions play alternately from the same score, which ultimately conveys its message in the fleeting moment of tasting the wine.
