This Lion Sabatier set of steak knives is a dining essential for summer barbecues and Sunday roasts.
The smooth blade is expertly crafted in Thiers, France, from X50CrMoV15 steel. These knives embody strength, flexibility and corrosion resistance, to create a set that will last for years to come. They can be sharpened at a 20-degree angle for prolonging their sharpness and enhancing their carving capabilities. The handles are made of natural light-coloured beech wood, a universal shade and texture that would match both a contemporary and traditional kitchen setting.

For more than 500 years, Thiers has been the centre of French knife manufacturing excellence. Lion Sabatier was registered as the first Sabatier trademark as early as 1812, and is the only one allowed to use the lion as a symbol. As the ‘king of animals’, the lion stands for strength, agility, superiority and is a guarantee of quality for the consumer. Although modern machines have long since replaced the hammer and anvil, at the Rousselon factory, many parts of the long production process are still carried out by hand. The result is one of the best knives that money can buy.
