5These pencils were mentioned recently by a writing course tutor, as being the type used by John Steinbeck, and when I found out I had to use half the pressure and achieved twice the speed, I became further intrigued. They live up to all that and more. Stylish, and in a gorgeous box. I cannot now use anything else, it just doesn't feel the same. Service was great too, thank you. Carole Hawkins

5My favourite pencils so far. They glide across the page with the smallest touch and leave a well defined solid line. They get beautifully dark when pressed and they smudge well, if a little easily. Anonymous
