Celebrating the Byzantine empire, Manopoulos have created a beautiful set inspired by the royal family of the Macedonians. Hand-crafted by skilled sculptors the gold and silver pieces are highly detailed using Basil I and Leo VI as a creative base for the King and Knight.
The weighted pieces have a felted base while the board itself has an aged finish which beautifully displays the pieces.
This set will make a unique addition to any chess enthusiasts collection and is a beautiful display piece when not in use.
