4I recently received a chess set from Farrar & Tanner. It really was a lovely gift, however the nameplate was off center which played big time with my OCD. However they got it to me in rapid fast time on Christmas week under pressure. I immediately contacted them regarding the nameplate, and they offered several solutions to get it sorted including returning it for replacement and were most professional. While it got me riled a little, my son absolutely loves it. It’s a very well made piece that gets a lot of use. Yes I would most definitely deal again. For me it’s about customer service, and how it’s handled. A lot of companies miss this, Farrer and Tanner did not. pat hennessy

I would have loved a sturdier cardboard box however. Though most would likely discard of it on receipt, I'd want it to protect my asset in transit.buda
