The Original Sommelier from Forge de Laguiole® was created in collaboration with professional Sommeliers, resulting in unparalleled ergonomics and efficiency. The beautifully contoured handle has been thoughtfully hand-crafted from French grape vines. Decorative markings on the wood serve as a charming signature of the master knife-smith who made the tool. A gentle curve to the handle provides perfect leverage to wind the screw into a cork. Partnered with the folding lever, the five-turn groove spiral assures fast removal of even the most delicate vintage cork.
The blade of the Forge de Laguiole® Sommelier housed within the handle, allows the foil on you bottle to be cut away cleanly and easily.
Trimmed in highly polished stainless steel and finished with the iconic Laguiole Bee resting just below the corkscrew.
