Beautifully handcrafted from inlaid wood, this carved backgammon set has been produced by Helena in Turkey. Handmade with a solid wood frame, the intricately carved case has been perfectly executed to display the natural wood grain of the light and dark wood.The softly shaped sides add classic beauty to the set with hand carved leaf designs around the sides. Upon opening the lid, the smooth playing surface inlaid with walnut veneer becomes the centre of attention. The board is lined with shaped curves to hold the wooden pieces in place during play and is beautifully detailed. With wooden pieces, side racks and a full set of dice this is an elegant set which will be enjoyed for years.
