5Really pleased with these knives. Saw a similar set in a holiday home, have needed some new ones at home for ages but been put off by fake reviews of cheap and nasty knives online and so ordered some. They had arrived before we got home. Fiendishly sharp and so much easier to use than our old ones no matter how much we sharpened them. Only minor problem was that the acknowledgment and dispatch emails went to junk so I worried a bit about money being taken without being told. They even make some of their stuff in Sheffield still but not, I fear, our set? It’s a shame that manufacturers so proud of their British roots are so circumspect about where most of their ranges are actually made. I gather our Kyu set was probably made “in the Far East” but I hope not in the PRC. I think imported items should always be marked with a country of origin like food has to. Barry Moyse
