We have purchased this knife and 5 others to act as our "steak knives" at home, and they are perfect for the job (and a bit cheaper than some of the other fancy steak knife sets you can get, while still looking quite elegant. Paul

5Opinel knives are always good quality but many sites sell them with an inflated mark up price.
