1Extremely poor - the promised engraving was not actually engraved, and the cheap embossing came off after being gently hand-washed. I have contacted Farrar and Tanner to raise this issue but they haven`t even bothered to provide a response.

Thanks for talking to me, I hope we`ve resolved this for you now and you enjoy the replacements for many years to come. Again, apologies for the delay in responding, it was so unusual for us to hear the engraving had not lasted therefore we were waiting on feedback from the engraving team to see what had caused something like that to happen.

5These chalices have a good solid metal feel. Their size and shape is just right for a good fill of wine and the deep silver plating should last for years ( ps look underneath to see how good the plating is). Delivered extremely well wrapped and great value all round.Allan Wright
