Founded in 1920 by Pierre Dubost and his wife Marcelle just outside Thiers, France, the company began by producing knives for professional use. The famous Pradel knife created by Pierre Dubost features a toucan on the blade as its long sharp beak is mirrored in the design of the blade. The company grew in strength with the introduction of Jean Dubost, Pierre's son. Focussed on quality and the customers' needs, the brand now encompasses both traditional and modern designs to suit any occasion and trend.
