The sweet and fruity notes in this fine malt from Dufftown are the product of traditional, slow distilling, using pure water from Highlandman John's Well. Long maturation in a unique balance of European and American Oak then gives The Singleton its smooth, richly satisfying taste.
Presented in a premium dark wood presentation box. Wonderfully crafted with beautifully grained wood, you can add your personal message engraved along the top of the box in a striking finish for a memorable gift and keepsake.

Built in 1897, the last of seven distilleries founded in Dufftown, Glendullan was the brainchild of blenders from Aberdeen by the name of William Williams and sons.
With solid business acumen and a private railway siding, the Williams gave Glendullan a healthy start in life. So solid in fact that it took the barley shortages of the Second World War to halt production – though the momentous world event caused only a seven year blip in the history of this exceptional malt.
To achieve the light and fruity character that makes this whisky enjoyable from the irst sip, Glendullan distill The Singleton very gently. Using onion shaped copper pot stills, they distill their spirit at a lower temperature than most distilleries. They also run their spirit stills twice as long as their wash stills to promote a longer distillation. This slow and gradual process creates more copper con-tact and removes inpurities from the liquid.
The spirit is predominantly matured in American oak ex Bourbon casks, which naturally impart layers of sweet, nutty flavours, and blended with a small portion of liquid rested in European oak ex Sherry casks to lend a rich fruity dimension for a perfectly balanced Single Malt.
