Masterfully crafted in Japan to be both superbly functional and a delight to use, it consists of a pencil with an iron cup and a removable solid brass shaft that fits over the pencil when not in use. The clip and eraser can be removed if preferred and, over time, the golden coloured brass oxidises and develops an appealing patina.
