Vavona Burl veneer is sliced from huge, prolific burl growths found on occasional redwoods, producing some of the largest and most uniform burled veneer in the world.

The case is expertly hand-crafted and inlaid with the Vavona veneer. Each piece features beautifully unique grain, meaning no two sets are the same.

Twin-branded black clasps open to an exceptionally smooth playing surface. Using the traditional art of marquetry, the inside is adorned with contrasting Oak and Wenge playing points and decorative patterns. Handy side racks are perfect for storage.

Colour-coded mother-of-pearl checkers, two pairs of dice, a doubling cube and a set of wooden shakers are included – everything you need for a game.

Add personalised engraving to a brass plate to the exterior of the box for the ultimate gift.
